Judge Eleanor J. Hunter declared a mistrial Monday in the case of Orange County Judge Jeffrey Ferguson, who was arrested for shooting his wife of 27 years to death in their Anaheim Hills home, after a hung jury panel announced an 11-1 split on the charge of second-degree murder.
