Federal Court Maintains Jurisdiction Over Five Plaintiffs' Magnuson-Moss Claims Against Ford, Judge Rules

U.S. District Judge Jeffrey I. Cummings addressed an issue that split the federal courts: whether satisfying the requirements of the Class Action Fairness Act can grant original jurisdiction over class actions despite the failure to satisfy requirements of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
