A number of academics voiced support for Penn Law Dean Theodore Ruger’s pursuit of sanctions against controversial law professor Amy Wax, who has drawn strong criticism over derogatory remarks she made about Asian-Americans during a recorded Dec. 20 interview with Brown University Professor Glenn Loury. But not everyone agrees with the move—including Loury, who debated Wax on his show.
