'Cavalier and Callous': SF District Attorney Sued for 'Lenient' Plea Deal in Alleged Anti-Asian Attack

The lawsuit, filed by King & Spalding, follows reports of an uptick in “anti-Asian incidents,” and seeks a court order requiring the DA’s Office to “institute basic training and protocols and provide humane support and assistance to Asian American victims of violence in the aftermath of attacks, during criminal prosecution, at and after sentencing.”
