Trump’s lawyers argued that Acting Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan must recuse himself from the case as his daughter’s company served as a vendor to Harris’ 2020 presidential campaign. This is the third attempt to unseat Merchan, who has so far declined to step aside.
