Arizona High Court: Crime Victim's Hiring of Private Lawyer Must Be 'Reasonably Necessary' to Warrant Fee Award

While the Arizona Supreme Court remanded a case back to the trial court to determine whether a victim’s private attorney fees can be recovered as criminal restitution, the court provided “broad guidance” for lower courts to consider in similar situations.
