Perkins Coie has been engaged to defend Amazon.com Inc. and its subsidiary, Amazon Advertising LLC, in two landmark privacy class actions filed in Washington federal court that target the e-commerce giant’s use of software development kit technology to allegedly collect users’ geolocation data without their consent.
