Legislators have heard hours of debate and testimony on the bill, revised from its original form at the recommendation of the Corporation Law Council within the Delaware State Bar Association, and two additional hours preceded the vote on the house floor. As in previous meetings, those in favor said the legislation is key to Delaware not losing corporations to Texas, Nevada or other states.
