Ex-GMU Scalia Law School Professor Faces Demand for Sanctions After He Dismissed Nonsuiting Defamation Case

“Ms. [Angela] Landry is entitled to partial fees and costs under the Anti-SLAPP statute because she prevailed on one of plaintiffs’ defamation claims, and that statement was found to be, and is, a matter of public concern,” counsel for Landry wrote in a brief demanding sanctions against former George Mason University law professor Joshua Wright.
