What is the IRAC Challenge?
The IRAC Challenge is a competition where you compete for points, badges, and more against other lawyers, professors, law librarians, and students. However, only law students that are residents of the United States are eligible to claim prizes.

Is the IRAC Challenge a contest? Can law students win prizes?
Yes, it is a contest! All current law students at U.S. law schools are eligible to win a prize in the IRAC Challenge.
Are there practitioner prizes?
Generally, practitioners compete for bragging rights. In addition, their points boost the point totals of their respective law school.
How do I participate in the IRAC Challenge?
Every time you go to the IRAC Challenge case page you’ll see a legal decision that is ready for review and analysis. For each case, you are asked to analyze it using the IRAC methodology – Issue, Rule, Application, and Conclusion.
To earn points, you must submit an approved summary that uses the Issue, Rule, Application, and Conclusion methodology. If you Bluebook your citations, the moderator may award you up to 5 bonus points.
Are IRAC posts moderated?
Yes, all IRAC summaries will be reviewed for accuracy by experienced attorney moderators. Remember, if you share your IRAC review on your social media page and it gets at least 25 upvotes, the moderator may award you up to 5 bonus points.
How do I sign up?
Request an invite code using your law school email address, confirm your email address, sign in and complete your first IRAC analysis. After that, you can do as many or as few as you want!
