John A. Sarcone III, who ran for Westchester DA in 2024 but was not elected, is set to begin as U.S. attorney for the Northern District of New York on March 17. The district spans a swath of 32 upstate counties. Sarcone worked on the campaign of President Donald Trump’s first term, and was later appointed to a role in Trump’s first term.
