The National Women’s Soccer League also agreed to new protocols to improve player safety, including coach vetting, installing multiple mechanisms for players to report misconduct and establishing a league safety officer. It will also provide free and unlimited counseling services to players, according to a statement issued by the Office of New York Attorney General Letitia James.
