Of the 44 awards granted by the Lawyer’s Fund for the final quarter of 2022, 24 percent of the awards reimbursed funds pocketing by two now-disbarred lawyers. Those former attorneys were Yohan Choi of Bayside, and the once-prominent Manhattan real estate attorney Mitchell Kossoff.
